FDA limits salmonella warning to Mexican peppers


Only Mexican-grown raw jalapeños and raw serrano peppers have been linked to the salmonella outbreak, a spokesman for the Food and Drug Administration said Friday. Nisha Kothari replaces Malavika in controversial ‘Karthigai’


Bollywood actress Nisha Kothari has replaced Malavika in the controversial bilingual film “Karthigai”. Malavika had alleged sexual harassment by the producer of the film for refusing to do dance steps due to her pregnancy. Malavika had allged that producer Anjaneyulu and director Veera tried to harass her sexually, but the charges were denied.

Superb Murray sets up Nadal clash


A brilliant display by Andy Murray saw him beat Novak Djokovic for the first time to set up a semi-final clash with Rafael Nadal in the Toronto Masters.

The British number one had lost his four previous matches against the world number three, the defending champion, but his battling approach paid off.
